Jaw Surgery:
In adults or in younger patients who have completed most of their growth it is not possible to change the shape or position of the jaws with functional appliances. For some of these patients the best possible facial result and the best possible bite can only be achieved with a combination of braces to move the teeth and surgery to move the jaws.
